Teaching the Commandments

Hi Friends! I have been working hard to get more religion resources out for you! The next activity that is prepped and ready, is a lesson the Two Great Commandments. Don't worry, the 10 Commandments will be coming your way soon! Let's not forget that the Two Great Commandments are important as well. If we were to live by these two commandments only, we would also be following the 10 Commandments. I created a Great Commandment Flip Book that you can use in the classroom, or at home (for all my home schooling mamas out there). The kids have enjoyed having these books to help learn their new religion material. Each page focuses on one skill, and the tab at the top helps them remember the focus. In the flip book, the kids learn what a commandment is and why the are important. There is also a page for each commandment, with an activity to go along with the passage. Whole 30 Food List

Hi Friends!   This post is not teaching related, but I wanted to provide this resource for you! I recently finished my 3rd Whole30. It was by far my most successful one. It's not that I slipped up during my past whole30's, it's the first time I have actually achieved my food freedom.  If you haven't read Melissa's book Food Freedom Forever , you should! It would be a great read before or during your Whole30. When I did my first whole30, there was absolutely no compliant sauces, marinades, seasonings, bars, jerky, or places to eat in my area. I had to cook everything from scratch! It became a little exhausting, and I hadn't mastered food prep yet either. There wasn't a lot of quick and easy meals provided on the Instagram account yet. This time around was completely opposite! I had many options to add to my food list! We now have a Sprouts in our area, but Walmart has also stepped up their game!
